Yearly examinations to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy. 

3 or 6 monthly scale and polish to treat your gums and help eliminate gum disease. 

A removable way to replace missing teeth. 

this may involve a simple appointment for a mould of your mouth or sometimes all you have to do is drop the denture into the practice and it will be fixed in one to two days.  

White crowns can be placed on front teeth when there is only a small amount of tooth left there, or when a tooth fractures. Metal crowns can be placed on back teeth when large fillings here are needing done or replaced, to help keep the tooth for as long as possible.

White fillings can be done on the NHS at the front of your mouth and on some small fillings at the back. Large fillings at the back of the mouth are done in amalgam (silver) on the NHS. 

These are very important in diagnosing decay and gum disease in the areas that are more difficult to be examined in your mouth. You can expect these to be taken at least every couple of years, if this is required.  

To get kids used to coming to the dentist and allow them to learn the importance of looking after their teeth from a young age. Often their visits will involve getting fluoride varnish painted on the teeth to help prevent tooth decay.  

If you or a member of your family is unable to attend the practice, we can come to you. Unfortunately just now we do not have wheelchair access. Please ask reception to arrange this.

These are to “bridge the gap” - when a tooth is missing in the mouth, this is a fixed way of replacing the missing tooth.  

A way to save the tooth when you have toothache or a deep filling – this removes the nerve of the tooth so that the tooth is no longer sore and can still be kept in your mouth.
